The first AMI international conference on Bioplastics Compounding and Processing 2011 took place March 29 - 30, 2011 at the Hilton Miami Downtown in the lovely city of Miami, Florida.
Bioplastics Compounding and Processing 2011 offered a lively interaction between an international panel of speakers and delegates which stimulates debate in all sectors. This years program included experts in compounding, additivation, injection molding, film extrusion, bottles, biodegradation on land and at sea, from packaging to long-term electronics applications.
The keynote address was from Professor Ramani Narayan. Other participants include: The Procter and Gamble Company, NEC Corporation of Japan, RTP, Techmer PM, Clariant, Nissei America, FKuR Plastics, Leistritz, Natureworks, Gala Industries, Kimberley-Clark, Professor Joe Greene, Telles (on marine biodegradable plastics), Novamont SpA (on degradable films for agriculture and packaging), Toray Plastics (on BOPLA film), Reifenhauser, Beta Analytic and Organic Waste Systems (on testing, standards and certification.)
