Plastic hot and cold water pipe systems in Europe

Plastic hot and cold water pipe systems in Europe

Date of published: March 2014

Much has occurred since the latest edition (2008) of AMI Consulting’s ‘Hot & Cold Water Pipes’ report.

While Europe’s construction industry in general has suffered heavily from the effects of the economic crisis, there were large differences between the various European countries and regions.  Even more importantly, the recovery trajectory of various countries and regions is starkly different: some countries appear to be well on their way to recovery and are likely to experience significant growth in the next years; others are lingering in stagnation and are likely to only very slowly ‘crawl’ out of the woods.

Perhaps more than ever before, the European plastic pipes industry is presented with a mixture of challenges and opportunities.

In comparison to the previous edition, the scope of the current project has been expanded to include District Heating & Cooling as an additional application.
