Investments in plastics manufacturing are growing signficantly in the Middle East.  Fuelled by an increasing local demand, the plastics processing sector in the GCC offers lots of growth potential in the future.

However this is a geographic area very difficult to research, AMI has undertaken a thorough research, interviewing hundreds of companies to produce this unique and reliable directory listing 480 thermoplastics processors in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

The report lists all companies alphabetically, for each site the following information is given:

  • Full address with telephone numbers and fax numbers, email and website
  • One managerial contact
  • Parent company
  • Processes operated: Injection moulding, blow moulding, Film extrusion, etc.

For each process operated production details are shown:

  • Polymers processed
  • Markets served/products manufactured
  • Some machinery information : for example number and size of machines for injection moulding.

The data is available as a database and will be available in book format at the end of November.
