International industry conference on polymer foam applications, manufacturing and performance

AMI's 3rd international conference in Europe on chemical and physical foam processing technology for thermoplastics and elastomers, Polymer Foam 2015, took place in the ancient city of Cologne in Germany from 2-4 November 2015 at the central Maritim Hotel by the Rhine.
The conference started with an evening Welcome Cocktail Reception on 2nd November for all delegates, followed by a 2-day programme of technical and market presentations. A table top exhibition ran alongside the conference providing the perfect opportunity for networking.
Polymer Foam 2015 offered the chance to meet industry and researchers and discuss applications and properties of foam, plastics processing, chemical blowing agents, physical foaming, compounding for foam and innovations in cellular plastic materials with some of the most influential professionals in the industry. This year there were expert speakers from the construction, automotive and packaging spheres highlighting the broad range of light-weighting, insulation and impact properties of foamed materials and components.
