Europe exhibition visitors

These T&Cs are to be read in conjunction with the Registration Form which, together, represent the entire agreement between you and Applied Market Information Ltd (AMI, us or we). By completing and submitting the Registration Form, you agreed to be bound by these T&Cs. You acknowledge and agree that these terms apply to the exhibition as well as to any separately ticketed events related thereto, including, without limitation, any networking events, dinner events, etc. (collectively “events”) which may be organised by AMI at its sole discretion.

  1. On rare occasions we may have to cancel, postpone or relocate an exhibition or event. We will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible and we will not be liable for any losses incurred by you as a result of any cancellation, postponement or relocation.

  2. Personal arrangements including travel and accommodation relating to the exhibition or any event are your responsibility and in no event shall AMI or the venue be liable for any wasted expenditure, including in the event of any cancellation, postponement or relocation by us of the exhibition or event.

  3. You must at all times behave in a professional and appropriate manner at our events. This includes, but is not limited to, trying to exhibit without registering as an Exhibitor, marketing your business without registering as an Exhibitor, bad behaviour, protest or intoxication.

  4. AMI has sole control over admission policies at all times. AMI reserves the right to exclude or remove from the Exhibition or any associated Event, any person whose presence or behaviour it reasonably considers to be undesirable or potentially unlawful, harmful, disrespectful or disruptive. Participants asked to stop any harassing behaviour or requested leave, are expected to comply immediately.

  5. We cannot ensure the security of items left unattended. We accept no liability or responsibility for property damages or losses (including loss of any belongings) sustained by you at the exhibition or any event, unless caused by our negligence.

  6. You shall be solely and fully responsible for your actions and omissions resulting from your consumption of alcohol at any event, and you agree to drink responsibly. You will not consume alcohol if you are younger than the legal age for consuming alcohol in the jurisdiction of the exhibition or any event. We further reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to deny alcoholic beverage service to any person who appears to be intoxicated or for any other reason in our sole discretion.

  7. No smoking of any kind (including any electronic cigarettes, vaporizers, or similar products) will be permitted in the exhibition or any event at any time.

  8. Proper attire (including, without limitation, shoes) must be worn at all times. Attire must not be distracting or offensive to others.

  9. You may not photograph, tag or otherwise discuss on any social media platforms any person at the exhibition or any event without their permission.

  10. All bags and other items may be subject to screening/security checks. We reserve the right not to allow any bag, parcel or other item into the exhibition or any event.

  11. Badges, tickets and other credentials are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, non-refundable, revocable and void if altered.

  12. You may not: (i) perform any activity or cause or permit anything that is reasonably likely to be disruptive or dangerous to AMI, any exhibitor, sponsor, other any other attendee, (ii) conduct or pursue any illegal or offensive activities, (iii) bring any firearms, ammunition, weapons of any kind, or any other offensive, dangerous, flammable or explosive, hazardous or inherently dangerous materials into the exhibition or any event, or (vi) bring illegal drugs into the exhibition or any event.

  13. We will process the personal data you provide in the Registration Form in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  14. You understand that by choosing to allow your badge to be scanned by an exhibitor or sponsor, you are providing the exhibitor or sponsor with your personal data (as disclosed when registering). You consent to this personal data being transferred and accept that this exhibitor or sponsor may contact you about their products or services. You acknowledge and agree that any such transfer was authorized by you and is not processing of personal data by AMI.

  15. You acknowledge and agree that AMI will be taking photos and recording video footage including interviews at the exhibition and any event. By attending the exhibition and/or any events, you understand and accept that your name, image, likeness and/or voice may be captured, and that AMI and its affiliates, have full intellectual property rights to this content, and any reproductions thereof, and may use such content (and any other works based on such content) to promote, exploit, exhibit and/or distribute any such content throughout the world in any manner whatsoever, in whole or in part, including in any and all social media, online marketing, printed materials, news, commercial, promotional, packaging for any product or service, in any case without payment of any fee or other compensation to you. Whilst you have a right at any time to ask for your image not to be further used, after publication it will not be possible to have your image removed from social media, search engines or printed materials. If you would rather your image was not used, please let the organiser of the event know in advance. Please note a photo to record your image will need to be taken and stored to allow for the purposes of data protection and suppression.

  16. If you wish to attend any additional events, you will have to register to attend, pay any associated fees and comply with these terms at all such events.

  17. We ask you to be aware of, and at all times comply with, all applicable laws, including but not limited to laws of antitrust and, more generally, laws and practices that promote fair and lawful competition within the plastics industry.

  18. In organising and hosting any exhibition and event, we will be guided at all times by relevant local laws and government issued health guidance. While we will put in place such measures as are required by local laws to protect public health, you will remain responsible for complying with such guidance and laws (including but not limited to any laws or guidance relating to Covid-19)

  19. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, (a) AMI shall not be liable, whether based on a claim in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise arising out of or in relation to these terms, for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or lost profits, even if AMI has been advised of the possibility of such damages; and (b) the total aggregate liability of AMI, whether based on an action or claim in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise arising out of, or in relation to these terms shall not exceed the total amount of the fee paid by you for admission to the exhibition and any events. We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that, by law, cannot be excluded or limited.

  21. These T&Cs are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England. The courts of England have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute or claim arising out of these T&Cs.

These T&Cs are to be read in conjunction with the terms contained in the online or PDF Registration Form and, together, represent the entire agreement between you and your Company as detailed in the Registration Form ("you" or "your”) and Applied Market Information Ltd ("we" or "us"). By completing and submitting the Registration Form, you agree to be bound by the T&Cs and the Registration Form.
