Advances in polyolefin pipe

Polyolefins are commonly used in pipe applications – but with the need for greater environmental as well as mechanical performance, producers and users must take care to select optimal grades. Recent innovations in polyolefins for the pipe industry include a grade developed for micro-irrigation, new methods for recycling PEX materials, and a bio-based HDPE suitable for gas transport applications.
