Exhibitor Spotlight: Chemyork on specialty materials, supply resilience and global sourcing

26 October 2026

As AMI Plastics World Expos 2026 approaches, we’re speaking with exhibitors about the innovations, challenges and opportunities shaping the plastics industry.

In this exhibitor spotlight, John Koraltan from Chemyork discusses the importance of reliable global sourcing, developments in specialty materials and engineered polymers, and how supply-chain resilience and technical collaboration are becoming increasingly important across the plastics industry.

Company: CHEMYORK INC Booth: C1407

What makes your company stand out? What sets you apart from the competition, and why should visitors make sure to visit your stand?

Chemyork stands out through its combination of global sourcing capabilities, strong supplier relationships, and a highly responsive approach to customer needs. We do more than move products—we work closely with customers to understand their applications, challenges, and supply requirements, then connect them with the right materials and reliable supply solutions.

Our customers value our ability to bring together international market access with local market knowledge, commercial flexibility, and consistent execution. Visitors should stop by our booth to discover how we can help them improve supply security, identify new material opportunities, and build more competitive solutions.

What’s the next big thing you’re working on? Can you give us a sneak peek into any new technologies, innovations, or breakthroughs you're bringing to the market?

We are continuously expanding our portfolio toward higher-value specialty materials, additives, engineered polymers, and performance-driven solutions.

One of our key priorities is building stronger connections between global producers and North American customers, particularly in applications where performance, consistency, and supply reliability are critical. We are also investing in deeper technical collaboration with both suppliers and customers so that we can move beyond traditional distribution and become a true solution partner.

What’s the biggest challenge in the industry right now – and how are you tackling it? Whether it's sustainability, supply chain issues, or something else, we’d love to hear your take!

One of the biggest challenges is balancing cost competitiveness with supply reliability, regulatory requirements, and increasingly complex customer expectations.

Global supply chains have become more unpredictable, while customers expect consistent quality, competitive pricing, and reliable delivery. Our approach is to diversify our supplier base, strengthen long-term supplier partnerships, maintain visibility across multiple regions, and stay close to our customers’ forecasts and requirements. We believe resilience is no longer simply an operational advantage—it is a key part of our value proposition.

Over the next decade, we expect the chemical and polymer industry to become more specialized, more technology-driven, and increasingly focused on sustainability and resource efficiency.

Electrification, lightweighting, advanced polymer applications, circular materials, higher-performance additives, and more efficient manufacturing processes will create significant new opportunities. At the same time, geopolitical shifts and supply-chain localization will continue to reshape global sourcing.

Companies that succeed will be those that combine global market access with technical knowledge, supply-chain agility, and the ability to adapt quickly. We are positioning Chemyork to be that kind of partner for both suppliers and customers.

What excites you most about this year’s expo? Are you launching something new, speaking at a session, or just looking forward to networking with industry leaders?

What excites us most is the opportunity to bring together customers, suppliers, and industry professionals in one place and have meaningful conversations about where the market is heading.

We are looking forward to introducing new opportunities within our portfolio, strengthening existing relationships, and building new partnerships across the industry. Most importantly, we want visitors to leave our booth with a clear understanding of how Chemyork can help them access reliable supply, new materials, and new business opportunities.
