What makes your company stand out? What sets you apart from the competition, and why should visitors make sure to visit your stand?
At Holland Colours, we believe color, additives and performance should work hand in hand. What sets us apart is our ability to combine decades of expertise in colorants and additives with a highly collaborative approach to solving customer challenges. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions, we partner closely with customers, suppliers, and NGO’s to develop technologies that improve product performance, enhance sustainability, and support manufacturing efficiency.
What’s the next big thing you’re working on? Can you give us a sneak peek into any new technologies, innovations, or breakthroughs you're bringing to the market?
The industry is evolving rapidly, and we continue to invest in technologies that address the specific needs of the markets we serve. In Packaging, our work is focused on circularity—helping customers increase the use of recycled materials while maintaining product quality, appearance, and processing performance. In Building & Construction, our focus is on dark colors, where manufacturers need bold aesthetics without compromising durability, weatherability, color retention, or long-term performance in demanding exterior applications. At this year’s expo, visitors can learn about two key innovation areas for Holland Colours: circularity in Packaging, including solutions for recycled PET and other packaging materials, and dark colors in Building & Construction, where heat management, weatherability, color retention, and durability are critical for exterior applications.
What’s the biggest challenge in the industry right now – and how are you tackling it? Whether it's sustainability, supply chain issues, or something else, we’d love to hear your take!
One of the biggest challenges facing the plastics industry today is balancing sustainability ambitions with technical and economic realities. Manufacturers are under pressure to increase recycled content, reduce environmental impact, and comply with evolving regulations, all while maintaining product quality and operational efficiency. At Holland Colours, we help customers address these challenges through innovations that support circularity and improve the performance of recycled materials. Our technologies help manufacturers manage variability in recycled feedstocks, enhance product appearance, and improve process stability. Beyond products, we work closely with customers as a development partner, helping them navigate complex sustainability goals with practical, market-ready solutions. Sustainability is not a single product or project—it's an ongoing collaboration across the entire value chain.
Fast forward 10 years - how do you see the industry evolving? What major trends do you think will reshape the sector, and how should businesses prepare?
Over the next decade, we expect the plastics industry to become increasingly circular, data-driven, and performance-focused. The use of recycled and renewable materials will continue to grow, while customers and regulators will demand greater transparency around product sustainability and lifecycle impact. At the same time, innovation will be required to ensure recycled materials can perform as well as—or better than—virgin materials. Additives and color technologies will play an important role in enabling that transition. Companies that succeed will be those that embrace collaboration, invest in innovation, and design products with sustainability in mind from the very beginning. The future belongs to organizations that view sustainability not as a compliance requirement, but as a driver of long-term growth and competitive advantage.
What excites you most about this year’s expo? Are you launching something new, speaking at a session, or just looking forward to networking with industry leaders?
Plastics World Expo brings together some of the most innovative companies and thought leaders across the plastics value chain, making it an outstanding opportunity to exchange ideas and explore the future of our industry. What excites us most is the opportunity to engage directly with customers, partners, and industry experts who share a passion for sustainability and innovation. We're looking forward to showcasing our latest solutions for packaging and building & construction applications, discussing emerging market trends, and exploring new ways to help manufacturers achieve their performance and sustainability objectives. Events like this reinforce the power of collaboration—and that's where some of the industry's most exciting innovations begin.
