This startling prospect, presented in a report by Systemiq and Eunomia (A Prescription for Change: Rethinking plastics use in healthcare to reduce waste, GHG emissions and costs), reflects the increasing demand for single-use plastics in hospitals, clinics and other healthcare settings.
