The Fakuma exhibition in Friedrichshafen, Germany, is a focal point for the innovations of injection moulding machine makers. At the last show in October 2023, some of the major European companies demonstrated the leaps forward happening in thin wall packaging production, including faster speeds, lower energy use, the advantages of in-mould labelling (IML) and more. Among the machinery companies that presented innovations in thin wall moulding were Netstal, Arburg, Engel, Sumitomo (SHI) Demag and Stork IMM.
