The report excludes needle-punched products and very short-pile grass which is often referred to as balcony grass.

Application scope

End-use application segmentation includes: Contact sports; Non-contact sports; Leisure (residential applications and products bought through DIY channels); Landscaping (municipal and commercial applications); School and institution landscape applications; and Sports landscapes (principally golf)

Excluded from scope are needle-punch products and products terms as “balcony” or “decoration” grass where the pile height is typically less than 10mm.
