Terms & conditions
Virtual event attendees
These terms and conditions (“T&Cs”) form part of your online registration (“Online Registration”) for our online virtual events (“Virtual Events”) which represent the entire agreement between you and your Company as detailed in your Online Registration ("you" or "your”) and Applied Market Information Ltd ("AMI", "we" or "us"). By completing and submitting your Online Registration and ticking the relevant box as part of the registration process, you agree to be bound by these T&Cs.
1. Virtual Events
1.1. You and your delegates are responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate facilities, equipment and internet connectivity to access our Virtual Events.
1.2. You and your delegates must always behave in a professional and appropriate manner at our events and must not engage in any behaviour contrary to this. This includes, but is not limited to, trying to exhibit without registering as an exhibitor or sponsor, marketing your business without registering as an exhibitor or sponsor, bad behaviour or protest.
1.3. During the course of the Virtual Event you and your delegates may not: (i) perform any activity or cause or permit anything that is reasonably likely to be disruptive or dangerous to AMI, any exhibitor, sponsor, or any other delegates or attendees; or (ii) conduct or pursue any illegal or offensive activities.
1.4. You or your delegates may not sell or display any goods or services or distribute any materials at the Virtual Event.
1.5. We reserve the right to deny access, or require a person already admitted to leave the Virtual Event without refund, liability, or compensation should the attendance of such individual be determined illegal, disruptive, inappropriate or potentially a legal or reputational liability, or inconsistent with these T&Cs. Furthermore, we reserve the right to require an individual to leave the Virtual Event at any time for any reason or no reason, in our sole and absolute discretion.
2. Payment of the Registration Fee
2.1. This clause 2 only applies where a registration fee for attending a Virtual Event is indicated as part of your Online Registration (“Registration Fee”).

2.3. Where you have completed an Online Registration, you must make immediate payment via credit card in the "Payment" section of the Online Registration before submitting your registration.
2.4. You agree to pay the Registration Fee in full without any set-off, counterclaim, or deduction or withholding. If you are required by law to make any deduction or withholding, the Registration Fee payable shall be grossed up so that, after such deduction or withholding, the amount paid by you and received by us shall not be less than the Registration Fee specified in your Online Registration.
3.1. Subject to the limited circumstances set out in clause
3.2, all bookings are non-cancellable and any Registration Fees paid are non-refundable.
3.2. On occasions we may have to cancel a Virtual Event if, for example, delegate numbers are too low to run the event. If so, we will give you as much notice as possible, and you will be given the option of a refund or transfer to an alternative event.
3.3. On occasions, we may need to postpone a Virtual Event. If so, we will give you as much notice as possible. Your booking will remain valid for the postponed Virtual Event. Postponement will not entitle you or your delegates to a refund.
We are not liable to you for any non-attendance of your delegates for any reason. If you or your delegates are unable to attend the Virtual Event, event presentations may be available on demand after the date of the Virtual Event. Please consult the Event website or contact us for further details.
5. Circumstances outside our control
We will not be liable to you for any delay, defect or deficiency in performing our obligations under these T&Cs to the extent that such delay, defect or deficiency is caused by an event beyond our reasonable control. This includes (but is not limited to) acts, defaults or omissions of our suppliers or subcontractors, unavailability of the Virtual Event platform, a strike, lock out or other form of industrial action, outbreak of hostilities, riot, civil disturbance or acts of terrorism; pandemic, epidemic or other health emergency; fire, explosion or flood; or theft and malicious damage.
6. Virtual Event programme changes
We will use reasonable endeavours to avoid changes in advertised Virtual Event programmes. However, from time to time amendments may be required, for example as a result of changes to speakers' circumstances or corporate change. Your personal data will be transferred to an exhibitor or sponsor, who may be outside the EEA, and they may contact you about their products or services. On disclosure of your personal data, the exhibitor or sponsor becomes the data controller of that personal data and is responsible for compliance with relevant data protection laws.
