Fire Resistance in Plastics 2008 took place from 8-10 December at the Maritim Hotel in Cologne, Germany.

The conference provided an international forum for all companies involved in flame retardancy and flame retardant plastics to learn about the latest developments influencing the industry.

The conference programme divided into a number of sessions that gave an overview of flame retardancy, looked at material developments including halogen vs. non halogen, Zinc borates, metal hydroxides and brominated flame retardants.
